It's easy to cheat the tax system when it provides the opportunity, and those who are given the opportunity do it well and often (almost always and there isn't a way to stop it). That's what's unfair (and screwing up public finances). A bus driver has no alternative but to play by the rules. The wealthy don't and they still bitch about it.Tax laws apply to bus drivers same as anyone else. If a bus driver buys his own bus and hires a driver, guess what, he can write it off and pay a lower percentage of tax. You don't get to claim deductions by sitting around belly aching about rich people and how they don't pay you 3 million a year plus bonuses to drive their buses.
