Think at this point in time the church whatever church parish should Be happy with any interest ,the people have made the effort to come on Sunday and thats an effort that should be praised ,pushing the daily thing --should not be if they need help it should be unconditional --daily, monthly ,its not anyones place to say ,just be thankful the people come at all ---wow I cant believe I'm reading this

So, just because people come to church means the church should do as those people want?

What is the goal of the church ,of the parish --to serve God and the people, bridging a gap ??

Are there rules as to when, how long and why someone goes to church ?? no its a personal choice ,guilt should not play a part ,nor should a parish favor one over another because of money, time or work done

Couldn't say. My wife is the church-goer in this family. I go with her Christmas and Easter. i'm not really inclined one way or the other, but wife is RC and they have very definiate ideas on what church is all about. Won't even let me have communion because I'm not Catholic. Guess you gotta belong to the club before you get the perks???

Isn't the real goal of Church to serve God? Isn't that, in the end, what it is all about?
