Good night Jim...

I've been told that its taken roughly 35 million years for the complex multi-celled life-forms that appear on this planet to have occurred...

If we set aside the anthropomorphic deist concept anyway...

And learn to take our Kierkegaard and Heidegger with a spoonful of honey...

A fundamental acknowledgement that frequently escapes consideration is that to "know" horror one must have some sense of beauty or tranquility or at some level the "un-horrid"...

We can (and do) choose to embrace the terminals along the continuum instead of working toward synthesizing the whole.

Balance, whether its the homeostasis the physical organism we each are attempts to achieve or that elusive peace-of-mind we keep looking for... Balance is one ingredient of the Way.

I think it comes from the fact we are now more aware of stuff and expectations, which then we place upon ourselves.

Personally I have no real desire to climb everst or jump out of a plane.

Wether someonelse intends to then does, they will just find something else in the hopes that will make them happy and give them social status.
