The King and Queen Consort (who will be titled as the Queen after her Coronation on Saturday next week) have visited the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool where the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest is to be held a week after their coronations.
The UK is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 1998 due to last year's winner Ukraine not being able to host it, so the UK, which finished second last year, was given the honour instead.
Despite being its first hosting of the event in 25 years, Britain has hosted it more times than any other country.
Whilst visiting the venue, the King let it be known that he will be rooting for the host nation's entry Mae Muller with her song "I Wrote A Song."
May will see the eyes of the world on Britain - first for the Coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort on Saturday next week and then Eurovision exactly one week later.
