The King surprises Sandringham runners for second successive year

People going on a run at the Royal Family's Sandringham estate in Norfolk were mightily surprised and delighted today when they found out that one of the spectators cheering them on was none other than His Majesty King Charles III.

It is the second year in succession that the the Head of State has surprised and delighted the parkrunners.

Those in attendance were surprised that the King, 77, stood amongst them on the start line and he stressed the importance to those around him to be physically fit.

The King is currently taking the weekend off work in running the country...
