I think this is a false assumption.______________________________________________

No,I don't think it is a false assumption.We all have an opinion /knowledge of people that we know or don't know personaly and upon this knowledge and opinion ,we form an image of the individual(s). Obviously others also have an opinion/knowledge of ourselfs and form their own image of us .Hence it is reasonable to say that the relationships are between an images.

Love still includes the ego of the present, as well as the id of the past_______________________
How can you say that???/.................Both ego and ID are a poduct of one's thought .Is Love a product of thought? furthermore ,it is because of the ego and the id ,we are forming images of others and ourselfs.

I think we see what we want to see. You know how it is werid hearing your own voice on a tape recorder? I think it'd be weird if we could see ourselves as others see us.

And, we can be seen by others in many different ways, as it is from the eyes of that beholder, and
who knows what makes them tick. So, how can we find out who we "really" are, in an accurate way
that doesn't just reflect someone elses "idea" of us, and, are we really the way "we" think we are.

First of all a mirror doesn't lie ,it reflects who you realy are .....physicaly.
There is also another mirror ,and that mirror also doesn't lie: its a mirror of realationships and that mirror shows YOU exactly who and what you are .Observ your self in relationships with friends,children , a postman ,a hungry dog ,a leaf falling from the trea ,an angry lover ,an old lady with a heavy bag walking slowly in a street ......observe yourself ,hoew do you react in these different situations ? If you do observe yourself ,you will know who you are for that mirror of relationship doesn't lie.
