The future of our planet...

This is a good article about the future of our planet and some of the things that should be done to save it. Considering the way things are going right now, the way our governments work, I really doubt that they will prevent those problems by working with new energy sources. I rather think that someday we'll wake up and say 'Well, no more oil, no more water, what do we do now?'

They wonder why people in canada don't make children anymore... I have a good idea!

Read it all, it has 2 pages.

What do you think?

You bring up an interesting topic Isengard. Although I don't think that its america alone destroying our planet. There are alot of other countries that do alot worse. One day no doubt mother nature will exact her revenge upon humans. I heard something awhile ago on the CBC. It appears that the inuit have no word in their language for a robin, as it was not a part of their world, lately there have been robins in the land of the inuit. It does make you wonder what is going on.

The biggest beef where I live is fish farms. We all know real fish don't eat pellets! The fish farmer murders hundreds of sea lions and seals because they do what is natural for them, look for dinner. They are altering the natural state of the ocean here, for the all mightly dollar.

Unfortunately, there are still a lot of countries who are willing to go that extra mile, for the extra buck, and that extra bit more which harms our planet.

The USA should have participated in Kyoto, and although I don't have time to read the article, a lot of the former communist countries also did their part to destroy our planet.

Now that the arms race is over and there's only one superpower, we should all be doing our part to repair what we have left... and to increase the lifespan of earth.

Yes it would be nice if it was that simple andem. I suggest you not do any serious research on the matter, seems more like a doomsday event. Not long ago I read oliver sacks island of the colorblind. Mr. sacks does not make judgements he just presents the facts. Interesting that the introduction of spam could change the entire well being and culture of micronesia. Here is a link to 7 myths which I tend to agree with. I spend alot of time outdoors, I have seen what people are doing to this planet.
