Here's how the morality play is: It is the natural food chain with each self righteous predator eating up the one below.

Here's a sample food chain of the self righteous:

The liberal Left eats the Radical Christian Right who eats the Fanatic Muslim radicals.

Another sample food chain:

The Muslim Radicals eat all Modern Westerners.

Or:

Modern westerners system assimilates like the Star Trek Borg any indigenous religion or culture.

I'm sure you all could come up with different food chains of your own. Perhaps we could all write a script for the Discovery Channel, analyzing the predatory nature of our evolving arguments.

I am waiting for Christians to devour the Bible and to crap out good works, while the same thing happens with the Islamists and the Koran, the Jews with the Torah, the Hindi with the Bhagavad Gita, the Buddhists with the Tripitaka, and the Taoists with The Tao-te-ching, et cetera, et cetera.

In that way, exercises in coprophagia exhibited amongst followers of so many extremist religious leaders would not be so accursedly unattractive.

The logic chain of the hypocritical goes like this:

Start a war for oil by lying. Insist that everybody agreed with you even though they didn't. Act indignant when the people whose families you've killed and whose livelihood you've destroyed fight back. Try to shift the subject and muddy the waters by saying that everybody else is just as bad as you are because they have the temerity to say, "We told you so," when they clearly told you so.
