There won't even be low prices after that "thing" has gobbled up all the competition.

Thats how I read that.

I still say that small business has advantages over Wall Mart.

The "small business market" isn't static either; it changes.

Can I vent about Target?

I love Target - people laughingly say "Tar-Jay" with French flair....
It has fun things and good prices and although the stores are
no cleaner than Wal-Mart, they don't get dissed - and I haven't visited a Target bathroom so I can't comment on that comparison...

I only have one complaint about Target and it could be just a local store feature and not a feature in ALL Target stores... but in the two local ones I have visited both have Popcorn Machines right near the front - where the greeting card displays are..... and lordie the smell is awful.

I love popcorn...but not the stale smell of an old machine which goes almost 24/7....I went into a Target yesterday to get some silly Valentine Cards and the smell nearly knocked me over...

I remembered this topic about Wal-Mart and Target...and thought it would be ok if I put this up here.

I wonder if I should complain to the manager....the staff may not even be aware of the smell working with it on a daily basis....

Heck...I'm probably just getting older and crankier.....wah...
