I wonder what the results would be if they asked 2044 Chinese adults, or Indian adults, or any group of educated adults whose native language isn't English.

I'm thinking the results never got published in those places. What about the local reaction to the result of the polls or does that step not get taken?

I remember an old survey like this one back in the 1960s - at that time books like Ulysses, The Thoughts of Mao, and The Communist Manifesto were among the top ones.

Probably the same, if not very similar.

These are the same british adults who elected Blair and Camerloon.

I helped elect Blair in 2001 and 2005 (back in those strange days when I voted Labour) and Cameron in 2010. On 7th May 2015 I'll be putting an X in the box next to whichever is the Ukip candidate standing in Bolton South East.
