Petros has raised a good point that has been glossed over. If you want to ban abortion, then lets see a clean slate of expenses paid for the mother to end of term, a guarantee of a steady job when she returns to the workforce, and a smoothed adoption process. PLUS a cash bonus.

If you expect THAT in Rick Perry's Darwinian Tejas, then you HAVE been hitting the CC bottle.

Or its 1955, and they can just cross the border and take their chances...

Hows this for a novel idea, how about they don't get pregnant in the first place. Know what works even better than contraceptives? Works 100% of the time? It's called abstinence. If you don't fu ck around, you can't get pregnant. Simple really, but I guess it is way too complicated for the simpletons.

Gerry, still hasn't occurred to you that people like sex. To expect them to quit having it is just totally surrealistic.

I don't expect them to quit, I just expect them to take responsibility for their actions and not kill the product of their dalliances. If they can't take responsibility, then abstain.

did you and lilith have another argument about 'who's on top' again?

Once the pregnancy happens, there is no 'time reversal' there is only the intelligent decision about what comes next. The illicit abortion mils of Tijuana were all too real to a past generation
