Now, I got sworn in to the military just last week and now tomorrow I get to go to pick up my uniform tomorrow.

I have to get up at 7 a.m. to drive down to pick up all this gear and such.

:D

And then I will be in the military.

The military has already started talking about me joining Special Forces.

Just to help you out Jersay, if you meet the physical and IQ req's for Special Forces, the only qualifications you need to try out are 2 years in the Reg/3 years Reserve, and to be trade qualified.

Congratulations, Jersay. Have a good time at Borden, or wherever you army types do your basic.

I had a babysitter I liked protecting too once....er...nevermind.

Sister not sitter.

Besides, all my baby sitters were mean to me when I was a kid.

Oh right, sister, ya I have of two of those, they are 30 and 31 and I still look out for them.

Back to the babysitter thing, I asked for one when I was 16 :p

And congrats on your oath, make your countrymen proud.

They said two years in reserve? But three/two doesn't really make a real difference.

Thanks, but back to babysitter, the last one I had chased me around with a broom.

The only thing I remember about my old babysitter was that she got in trouble for eating like three boxes of Golden Grahams.

A selective memory, I know. :p

Hehe. Yeah. She ate like three boxes and apparently tried to hide the evidence by cutting up the boxes and putting the cut-up pieces in a garbage bag in the garage. She apparently also stole a ring and some candles according to my mother — but I was little, and I like Golden Grahams, so that's the only part I remember. lol

well, now you opened up a real "can of worms", Jersay, by saying "we are supposed to be doing something".

I recall many a time when I was in the forces when we were "supposed to be doing something", and all we ended doing was the preverbial "screwing the pooch".
