A confidential Ministry of Defence report on Unidentified Flying Objects has concluded that there is no proof of alien life forms.

In spite of the secrecy surrounding the UFO study, it seems citizens of planet Earth have little to worry about.

The report, which was completed in 2000 and stamped "Secret: UK Eyes Only", has been made public for the first time.

Only a small number of copies were produced and the identity of the man who wrote it has been protected.

That actually happened once, Independence Day (the movie)

Has anybody ever seen the movie Fire in the Sky? It is supposedly based on a true story, where a few loggers saw a UFO and one of them got abducted and sent back home. They all took lie detector tests and allegeldy proved they were telling the truth. Years later they were subjected to the test again, and they all passed, again.

Ya but the study did find glowing plasmas of gas which the air sculpts into areodynamic shapes which appear to fly through the sky, which play tricks on the minds of hundreds of observers because local electromagnetic fields have been medically proven to cause responses in the temporal lobes of the brain.This causes not madness, but suffering of "extended memory rentition and repeat experiances" induced by the plasmas. The method that forms the gas clouds into cylindrical and spherical shapes is not understood nor the gas, but they definately are not aliens ,even though the observed phenomena and the physics involved are completely alien. If a fraction of the work involved in explaining what they're not were expended in explaining what they are maybe we would have more satisfying answers.
UFOs are real, they're just unidentified bits of reality.

Yes they did.But was it mass subjective truth or mass objective truth
caused by unidentified gas plasma. The book was good.

There was a thing a few years ago

called "Project Bluebook". It was started ti investigate all the UFO sightings in the fifties and sixties. When it ended, it basically said that while a lot of UFOs were explainable, a lot were still Unidentified Flying Objects. I think that was the right answer.

You could be right, there is some missing time in my memory banks,I might have been abducted and forced to copulate with alien women,or members of the bush administration, I hope it was the former, having a memory come flooding back about some sort of sexual liason with Condosleeza Rice or Rumsfeld and Cheeny would break me bad.

Can't possibly disprove that, but they don't have to. Failing to prove something is false doesn't mean it must or even might be true. The people making the claim have to provide the evidence in support of it, and they haven't, because they can't; there really isn't any evidence that points incontrovertibly to that conclusion.

On the other hand, are UFO's real? Sure they are, in the sense that things have been seen apparently flying that remain unidentified, but it's a long leap from there to postulating alien visitors.

I'm not saying that aliens or ufos exist, but I do think its extremely ignorant and arrogant of us to believe that we are definitely the only intelligent life forms out there. The universe is soooooooo HUGE and we are just one tiny part of it. We just cant be all there is out there.
