Strange virus.. Can anyone help?

Probably kind of late now, but I had a virus causing me problems. I tried several Anti-Virus programs to get rid of it. Freedom Anti-virus found it but couldn't eliminate it. I could SEE it in a folder on my C drive. Norton 2004 Anti-virus simply suggested I EXCLUDE it from further scans!!! Then I downloaded Spybot - Search and Destroy, a FREE antivirus program, ran it, it found it and it deleted it! No problems since. I would recommended Search and Destroy to anyone.
I now have Freedom Antivirus and Firewall; Spybot Search and Destroy (free); ZoneAlarm firewall (free); Ad-Aware. All working together.

I used Spybot Use and Destroy. Its good yeah, It deleted lots of sh*t from my computer - sorry for the language
But not the virus :S It took me some weeks to delete the virus :S

For those who are tired of constantly being in situations like this, when it comes time to upgrade to a new computer (or sooner), seriously consider a Macintosh.

We have NO viruses to deal with. NO spyware. NO security vulnerabilities that can lead our computers to be infected just by surfing the web.

I used to provide support for all of my friends who have computers - but the ones with Windows were the only ones who ever called me (and called me constantly). Those with Macs? They're being productive, being creative and not wasting time downloading security fixes every three hours or hunting for bugs.
