Curricula matters less than the quality and attitude of the teachers imo. As long as public school teachers aspire to be unionized laborers instead of professionals the public school system can't be reformed. The children of migrants working in Beijing and Shanghai perform better than the children of wealthy Americans. The Chinese are going to eat American kids alive.
Please, there are strict dietary laws in China, not to say such feasting is an unmitigated affront to the sophisticated palate.
I'm not so sure. I could go for a plate of General Tso's American Kid right about now. Or perhaps some Moo Goo Gai Yank with steamed rice.
When Common Core kicks in kids in the US will finally start scoring higher on national tests. No longer will we be number whatever in comparison to other countries... Common Core will ensure that we are #1!
