More Dead. The Grateful kind of Dead.

But they weren't singing about Jerry. He was still picking. In fact, he composed the mel-O-Dee. The music, not the muse, k?

You know better, but I know him

Like I told you, like I said
Steal your face right off your head

And now he's gone..."

Here's another Dead thing. Dead South. They started singing in 2012 in Regina, Saskatchewan. You can read more about them here.

Beside being called "The Dead South" they also sing about being dead. "In Hell, I'll Be in Good Company".

Another Canadian 'Dead' group. Theory of a Deadman. They've been around since 2001, and are from, or were formed, in Delta, BC.

Let's dedicate this to Mhz and Cliffy.

It's called - Rx (Medicate)

So Lorne Greene, born in Ottawa in 1915, died in Santa Monica, California in 1987, sang about a dead guy. Ringo.

Lorne didn't need the money, and certainly wasn't thinking of changing careers, but in 1964 he scored with this song. In that regard, it makes Lorne Greene a one hit wonder.
