At the AAAS meeting, conservation scientists reported that 80% of listed species are conservation reliant and will need to remain on the endangered species list. And the situation is likely to get worse.

It isn't particularly news that biodiversity is shrinking. I wouldn't mind attending the conference, though, to hear if anyone has a timeline.

Yeah, you're right on that one.

I always figured that the way things are going, the animals would only survive if we domesticated them all. We just take habitat and then gripe if an animal happens to wander onto what was once their territory.
