Nobody "needs" killing. Some people should just never see the light of day. If it will make you feel better that my pro life convictions are because of religion, fine. I'm Catholic, but I know a lot of Catholics that are pro war and pro capital punishment.

I can't say I agree with dragging abortion into this issue.... nor can I agree with all the other side issues that have been drug in. But, this gets under my skin, and I want to point out.... you attempted to give gerry's views on evolution based on his views of other things... it doesn't work that way. You can't guess people's views based on their backgrounds. People, contrary to political rhetoric, have too wide an array of factors at play in their decision making process for them to fit neatly into the categories you pre-decide for them.

For example, you've expressed a pro-life bent. By that I should be able to guess that you are against the death penalty. Life is life. Right?

Well I could name a few tyrants in the History of the world, you tell me which ones you would have let live out the rest of their days in a nice cell, 3 meals a day, watching cable.. as they do here in Canada.

Or would you maybe, just maybe agree some people are so evil, they just need to be disposed off like the "animals" they are and executed..

You directing that to me??

I believe that the most evil in society, serial killers, child rapist murders should be executed..

Other's put in prison with a sentence that fits the crime. I'm not 100% against the death penalty.. I just think it should be used more sparingly.

As far as Abortion...

Maybe if women wouldn't take for serious, what was pointed out in front of them for fun.. lol ;-) :lol:

(notice my Charlie Sheen avatar) have to keep up with my chauvinistic appearance.

Yes, I can read your opinions....I'm simply pointing out how stupid I'd make myself look if I tried to give your opinions to you instead of the other way around....being pro choice doesn't make someone a creationist

He didn't say pro-Choice, he stated "Pro-Life" and took a strong position on the wording.

Pro-Life is synonymous with many religious beliefs.. I was just taking a shoot in the dark that his strong stance on the position was because a strong religious views.

In no way I'm I trying to lesson his opinion of the issue because of that.. I commend anyone who has strong enough convictions in life to stand up for what they believe, regardless of ridicule or stone throwing.. I think I made that clear a few posts above.
