She was a career DoJ type (contrary to Smacky's alternative fact that she was an "Obama hack," but what do you expect from Smacky?) shoved into place to warm the chair and sign warrants until the new AG came on. She felt she couldn't uphold the immigration order. Trump fired her. All perfectly legal and appropriate. Only Twue Bewievers and drooling head-wound cases could make a big deal of it.

So that is the tactic... everything is unconstitutional that the left doesn't like.

I'd like to see which amendment was violated.

Lots of ambiguity with what's happening with terrorism right now. Muslims are being targeted since the word 'terrorist' is associated with Muslims; ISIS and the attacks on Boston, Florida, Cartoonist, Marathon runners, etc.... so now the US ban is clearly targeting Muslims (in the word of Trump, "until we find out what the hell is going on")! Trump was elected to do what exactly? How can one isolate or differentiate between moderates and Islamic terrorists (the person with that magic wan needs to step forward)? People have to accept that either nothing is done - status quo- or do what??, where do you start? Standing still is not an option, since everybody knows the next attack is imminent! where, when; who knows, we know the who and the what? Do I agree with the ban, NO.... but what to do? The army doesn't know, the cops don't know, the people don't know. Comparing the WWII genocides to what is happening now is nonsensical, as far as I know the Jews/ Gypsies had never attack anybody. Oranges and apples.

You have to give the common American citizens credit and even Canadians for their in-depth knowledge of the Constitution. They seem to know more than the Constitutional lawyers and judges who have studied it for years. According to them!
Lawyers and judges argue endlessly about how to interpret the Constitution while the average citizen has all the answers in a nut shell.
Absolutely amazing!

And amusing. Don't forget amusing.

I studied Constitutional law for five years, and have occasionally dealt with it in my practice, and I don't know as much about it as some dumbass Canadian on the internet. Just ask 'em.

I think they're the same people who declare various military actions "illegal," without understanding what the term means, much less what the applicable principles of international law are.

Yeah, well it's fine to have an opinion but to profess to know what the law states is not smart. It's much smarter to know what you don't know.

That's why ambulance chasers drive Mercs, right bones?
Only the uncool ones. Maserati or Aston Martin is the way to go.

Absolutely. Everyone is entitled to her opinion of how the Constitution should be interpreted. They ain't worth a hill of beans, but folks seem to have lots of fun with 'em.

I guess everyone has a broad overview of what is in the Constitution pertaining to rights and freedoms but I know if someone was challenging my Constitutional rights I would hightail it to a lawyer PDQ.
On another forum I'm seeing people saying what Trump did was unconstitutional and I feel like asking them how they know that. Hell, maybe it is, I don't know. But maybe it isn't either. Surely he's not fool enough to be issuing Executive Orders without legal advice.
Anyway if it comes down to a law suit even the lawyers will argue about it and may the best man win!
