About three weeks ago Jan planted a half dozen dried snow pea (seed peas)in a five gallon plant pot. We water them daily and in a week and a half we had Snow Pea plants three feet tall. They get flowers and pea pods very quickley. The trick is to harvest them as fast as the plants will produce them. As long as you keep picking off the pods, the plants will keep producing them. Right now, every second day, we get a double hand full of snow pea pods that are great in salads or served with other vegetables or served as a separate veggie with anything.
