I have fibromyalgia, and it flares up right along with the usual female annoyances that come with PMS. So, on top of everything else, my skin crawls, lights are too bright, noises are too loud, all of my joints are screaming, and I'm completely exhausted. My hubby gets screamed at if he looks at me wrong. He'll try to put a consoling hand on my shoulder, and he gets it bitten off. The kids walk through the house, and get screamed at for making 'so much noise'. I am, for lack of a better description, a raving lunatic. *I* can't even stand me.

Take cover doesn't even BEGIN to help..... leave the province is what my hubby prefers. lol.
LOL. Our house is a combat zone this week. Not quite super-m but the week isn't over yet. We have hardhats and emergency supplies on hand in case things get out of hand.

Hubby comes home with wine and chocolate. Always a hit with me. Dark chocolate, red wine. Yum. Helps calm the nerves. Find that magic calming agent, and you'll be her hero.

Why do women resort to violence so much anyways?

...

Cause some men just need hitting. (I"M KIDDING PEOPLE, SO RELAX BEFORE POSTING THOSE ANGRY RESPONSES).

His wife is greatful to me because I trained some of his worst guy habits out of him.

Kreskin, it's called grovelling. Tell your sweetie to suck it up and be the woman you deserve.

That advice makes total sense if that's the sort of stuff she tells him, yep. " 'Kreskin', I know your work day blew, but suck it up and be a man." "I know you're sick, but suck it up and build the deck... man up." lol.

But, most marriages revolve around trying to help the other person, trying to get them through the tough patches, not being caustic about it. lol.

I hate it when men use this as a reason to explain anything about women. The last time my brother tried to blame my annoyance with him on PMS, I beat him with a hairbrush.:angryfire:

And no, I wasn't pmsing at the time.

Brings me to another stat. Women always resort to taking the first hit.

Tracy, local court cases support your view here. Most domestic assaults now are committed by women. My the world has changed!

domestic assualts by women haven't risen at all.... reporting of them has. The world's changed for the better there.

Reporting and more importantly the laying of charges has changed. Sadly, society was misinformed for years on what was actually happening in Canadian homes.

They've always said about half of violent incidents in the home were comitted by women. The difference is women abusers don't cause the same level of injury as male abusers do in general.

That said, I have never hit a person as an adult so let's not get too serious here. I'm talking about my brother and fighting with him when we were younger and living at home with our parents. I think it's pretty normal to scuffle with siblings on occasion.

Tracy, at least the underreporting of domestic violence committed by women is likely now coming to an end. Sheltered for far too long by long suffering partners, abusive women can now expect to see the same degree of publicity as men in the past. It's a good thing.
Hey, this thread has wandered!
The big question remains: why are Swedes so lazy and how are the number cookers there able to convince the world Sweden has a solvent economy?

LOL, you realize that conventional theory suggests 98% of the time any thread on any subject will eventually change to the topic of George Bush within 40 posts. Sweden's economy is a nice segway to Shrub. Perhaps he has been the problem with their numbers after all.
