Should the American people be punished as well for the evils of their government?

Especially when they vote in the representatives of their government who do these evil acts? And despite having control over their government? And despite directly and indirectly benefiting from these evils acts? Why shouldn't they be punished as well? Can somebody answer me this question please?

Canadians, I want you to answer me this: what is the difference between the Japanese and the Germans during WW2 and the Americans today? Aren't the Americans doing the same things that the Japanese and the Germans which led to WW2? But why were the Japanese and Germans stopped? Was it because they were weaker compared to the Americans today? Is that it? Are you afraid of their power? I have read from time and time again that it does not matter how powerful a nation is, if the world works together to bring it down, it can be brought down! Yes, with great sacrifices but wasn't it great sacrifices which freed all of the enslaved nations and prevented Germany and Japan from ruling the world? The same sacrifices are required today!

Canadians, I know some of you feel that it is wrong to punish an entire nation for the crimes of a few but the difference between Germany and Japan from the US is that the US is not a dictatorship! Not only that but their government cannot declare war without the peoples approval! So, indirectly, the American people are murderers! Canadians, please bare in mind that they are free to voice out their sentiments! The people are free to get their government under control without fear of getting arrested or gun downed! And if by any chance these are broken, then I will understand! When that day comes, it is no longer the peoples fault and I will pity them.

Perhaps the determination that they didn't do enough to stop the criminal activities should definitely mean a suitable punishment is in order. They made the mess now they can put in the time making the repairs that have been delayed far too long so the next generation can inherit something other than one large slum.
Crime and punishment means the next generation will be more honest than the crooks running the place these days. Crooks with the same affection you two have for just a single group on the planet. Have you no same?? (obviously not)
