Should bus drivers be tested for drug and alcohol use?

What's the problem....... if they're not doing drugs or drinking then there should be no problem. If they can't do with out the illegal drugs like pot, then they can find another job, AND if they can't do without the pot, then they are addicted and should seek counciling.

Karrie, no its not getting sidetracked. First I wouldn't want someone 'breaking the law' or under the influence driving my kids around. And just because you think your friends are perfectly fine drivers when under the influence, doesn't mean that their judgement or reaction time wouldn't be affected in an emergency.

Would you want one of your kids or other family member being driven by a drunk?? Its not all about you, pal.

Driving while impaired is already against the law. Lets do a minority report on you and see what potential you have for committing a crime and pealize you in advance. Do you not see the loss of personal freedom you are advocating? Maybe some survailance cameras in your house to catch you doing something against the law? Where do you think this should stop?
