Serial child killer Lucy Letby today lost her appeal against her whole life tariffs.
Former nurse Letby, 34, was sentenced to not one but FOURTEEN whole life tariffs in August 2023 for murdering 7 babies and attempting to murder six others. One whole life tariff means spending the rest of your life in prison with no possibility of parole. Letby got 14 of them.
Cheshire Constabulary believe she may also have claimed other victims. She is the most prolific child killer in modern British history.
Letby appealed her 14 whole life tariffs but today the Court of Appeal rejected the appeal. The rejection means that Letby has no more appeals left, so she will definitely die in prison.
