Serial child killer nurse Lucy Letby is already condemned to spend the rest of her life in prison with no possibility of parole after receiving, in 2023, not one but FOURTEEN whole life tariffs for murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others that were in her care at a Chester hospital.

Today, the 34 year old received a fifteenth whole life tariff for the attempted murder of a premature baby...

Has England run out of rope?

You could argue that having to spend the rest of your natural life in prison with no possibility of parole - especially as a child killer when you're having to be on guard 24/7 against being attacked by fellow inmates - is a worse punishment than death.

That has been argued in court before. Called it cruel punishment. Maybe TB can enlighten us on how it turned out.

She will live a better life in prison. This is not justice nor sentence. This is paid holiday for her achievements. There is something called death penalty, use it mfs

And yet so many prisoners attempt or commit suicide because they can't beat to be in prison, even if they're in there for a set amount of years. Imagine being Letby and knowing she's going to be behind bars - with 9pm lockdowns in cells, trying to avoid having boiling water poured on you or having your eyes gouged out, dreaming of drinking a nice class of wine or being on a tropical beach - and you know that that is it until you die. Knowing you will never again take a nice summer walk in the countryside, visit a quaint country pub, take a holiday, spend quality time with friends and family. If it were me I'd rather be dead. A whole life tariff is a worse punishment than death. Why put her out of her misery?
