From what I’ve heard so far, they’re supposed to be about 70 marshals, based out of Prince Albert (but stationed throughout the province) & they are supposed to supplement coverage in rural areas where the RCMP are thin on the ground, to help control rural crime or high crime areas with increased reaction/response time.
