I wouldn't trust France around the crack of dawn, let alone to make a desicion on global safety concerns.

Bunch of cheese eating surrender, geocide supporting monkeys.

Meh, I ain't got a beef with France.

There you agreed on something I said, and above I agreed with something you said. It happens, lol.

I find also, keeping threads seperate, helps avoid future encounters from going constantly personal.

So you don't have a problem with the purveyors and supporters of genocide?

I find also, keeping threads seperate, helps avoid future encounters from going constantly personal.
That would be easier if the MO changed up once in a while.

The bulk of the rest or your two posts to me are just deflection.

Carry on.

Even if Iran had the ability they wouldn't use it. It is against their religion and they would fear the retaliation. It is worth remembering that in its modern history Iran hasn't waged a war of aggression, they have only defended themselves (Iraq and USA). If they have the ability then we will see mushroom clouds as soon as we try and stop them. I also fear Israel would be a prime target. All the evidence suggests that Iran is quite stable in terms of aggression unless provoked. In other words: when we attack them (or more accurately the USA and Israel) is when we'll find out if they have the capacity. IMO, this is clearly a case where it's best to let sleeping lions sleep.

Well most of that fear of Iran on Israel due to what president I'ma'didgeridoo said about being wiped off the map or what not, is not shared by the majority of Iran's citizens. I can not remember which documentary I watched not too long ago, but a reporter was in Iran to see what life was like and a lot of the citizens of Iran apparently are not too pleased with their current president as he was bringing unwanted attention to their country. Overall they seem like nice people who don't really have any care to attack anybody.

The most recent incident:

Khamenei snubs Iranian president

....Iran is having its coldest weather in years and parliament had ratified a law to release extra funds to supply gas to rural areas undergoing shortages.

But Mahmoud Ahmadinejad refused to implement it, prompting the speaker to appeal to the supreme leader.
A BBC correspondent says Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's action is a rare public humiliation for President Ahmadinejad.....

....Critics of the president have become more vocal as the threat of war with the US or Israel over Iran's nuclear activities appears to have receded.

The political battle is heating up with parliamentary elections in two months, our correspondent says.

Meh. Like I do with the US, I don't hate the people/citizens so much, it's those in power who cause the effects in our lives I hate. That is perhaps where you mistaken my views on the US. I don't hate the US, just the joker in power and his hinchmen/women.

That would be easier if the MO changed up once in a while.

Then by all means, change the damn subject to the topic at hand. If you're that interested in my views personally, there's the PM button.

The bulk of the rest or your two posts to me are just deflection.

Wow, how very astute. Either stick to the topic at hand and quit with the personal call outs or move along to something more interesting that you can contribute to. I have had plenty of people in the past trying to dictate to me what I think, I clearly do not require you to do the same.

So how about Russia's comments? or have you already stated everything you had on the subject?

You bring up two excellent points. Iran is under control from the lunatic fringe much like our friends to the south and both are in power because of fear mongering. I don't think the Americans or the Iranians would put up with their leadership for two seconds if it weren't for the terror their own leadership is exploiting against them. It really is a case of two regimes feeding off each other IMO.
