As England's footballers celebrate becoming the first European side to qualify for the World Cup with a perfect record - 100% victories and no goals conceded - England's rugby union side is celebrating beating mighty New Zealand for just the ninth time in their history in the annual Autumn Internationals ("Quilter Nations Series") as they continue their unbeaten run.

At Twickenham, in front of 82,000, Fainga'anuku - who literally has Twickenham as his middle name - put the New Zealanders ahead but it was England who had the last laugh.

Rugby is American Football's cousin but is a lot tougher...

More accurate to say "Rugby, or League Football, is the game from which all non-soccer football, including NFL, CFL, Aussie Rules, and Gaelic are descended."

Alright, Gridiron is the daughter of rugby.
Yeah, and y'all won WWII all by your lonesomes.

Well the British Empire fought the enemy alone for for a period.

Anyway, it was fun today ribbing Cameron, a New Zealand supervisor, over the game in work today.
