ROPE-A-DOPE vs CARTOON NETWORK strategy

Well, I finally got a name for TWO STRATEGIES in the war between the civilizations.

The Liberal Western nations, except mainly for the US, appears
to have adopted THE ROPE-A-DOPE strategy.

This option inaugurated by the great heavyweight Muhammad Ali
appears to be the strategy of Western Europe.

This strategy plans to absorb a lot of punches from the
terrorists, proclaiming no interest in a preventive knockout
strike, hoping perhaps the terrorists tire out from so much
effort and see how strong we still stand.

In fact ROPE-A-DOPE involves a deep understanding of its
opponent's finite, limitations. At some point they will see us
as we see ourselves.

And in the end, the opponent will be exhausted.

ROPE-A-DOPE.

Not used too often by the Great One himself, as he preferred
to dance more often than absorb the punches.

And now for THE CARTOON NETWORK STRATEGY:

We relentlessly draw cartoon pictures of our opponent.
They get pissed off. And so we say, we'll stop drawing
cartoons if you stop the beheading, the kidnappings, the hate
schools. Oh --- and we'll be able to stop the occupation, if
you actually join in rebuilding your own land.

It's a real easy deal.

In the meantime, we'll throw cartoons at you, make fun of you,
ridicule you, because we all know YOU CAN'T FIGHT COMEDY !!!

Ever know someone who could do that ?

Ever find out how hard it is to fight it, without coming off
like a sourpuss ???

YOU CAN'T FIGHT COMEDY.

Make room for the CARTOON NETWORK !!!

This is definitely going to hurt !!

We're all sensitive under the HAMMER OF COMEDY !!!

Let us dissect all the components of COMEDY ??

It is one of mankind's greatest arsenals, including
the many weapons that knock down our own
self importance, our own sense of greatness,
our stupid sense of infallibility, our snobbery,
our hubris.

Let us broadcast !!

Let us publish !!!

Where art thou sacred cows ???

HOO BOY !!!

Come Comet, come Cupid, come Batman, come
Mighty Dog, come Bloom County, come Pee Wee
Herman, come one, come all,
and bring in the million man naked midget march !!!

Let us know the ways of COMEDY, and all its
weapons.

Comedy doesn't have to be so sensitive.

It can even be worse than a wet willy.

In fact, those cartoons ought to really engage
the issue of hypocrisy.

They really see our hypocrisy.
