Yep. Unfortunately, his death was overshadowed and largely overlooked due to the death of Sir Christopher Lee, rather like Mother Theresa's death was overshadowed by Princess Diana's and Farrah Fawcett's death was overshadowed by Wacko Jacko's.

And CS Lewis' death was over shadowed by the death of someone with the initials JFK.

I believe CS Lewis has had a greater effect on western civilization than JFK.

I agree. The only thing JFK is remembered for is his "We choose to go to the Moon..." speech and for getting his head blown off.

It's also a tad disappointing that JFK rather inconveniently chose to be assassinated the day before the very first episode of Doctor Who was broadcast, so that momentous occasion was also overshadowed by JFK's death.

JFK set forward the notion hope was better than fear and other achievements
were preferred over war. Today we have become afraid of our own shadow in
order to divide people and we allow ourselves to be terrorized rather than clean
up the mess the Bush Administration created

What utter bullshjt. You must be very young. JFK was a terrible commander in chief (see Bay of Pigs, Vietnam).
