I am glad that Canada can act as a refuge for athletes of the USA who are persecuted over cannabis use.

Professional athletes can find some benefits in cannabis, and none of it is "performance enhancing" like steroids and uppers, so it is not right to say they can't use cannabis like everybody else.

And nobody else is losing their jobs over it.

So, Pro athletes from the USA, come entertain us in Canada when your backwards drug warring government gets to be too much, glad to have you here!!

As someone who has watched Ricky up close the last few years I think that's a good idea, they'll need all the help they can get.

Yes, I'm glad Canada doesn't have the puritanical and ridiculous marijuana laws that exist in the US and Ricky can pursue his trade there.

And just think, now I'll actually have a reason to follow the CFL from down here now :wink:
