That's just because he's good at what he does though. Martin runs from the left and governs from the right while denying doing either and people believe him. His whole agenda is so convoluted that he can hide it right out there in the open.
Harper runs from the right and wants to govern from the right, but is trying to keep that hidden because he understands that his positions are unpopular. It's much more straightforward and harder to hide as a result.
Was Martin driving the boat? No. He likely had only a vague idea that he owned the boat. He likely didn't even know what flag it was flying.
Harper would have been driving the boat, then he would have beat up a chair when the boat got pulled over. After that he would have charged that the boat was only pulled over because of Liberal corruption. Then it would have come out that the cocaine-smuggling was to pay for CIA black-ops overthrowing Chavez.

So? I once named a car after an old girlfriend. It remained in my name for years after I gave it to my brother. He continued to call it "censored censored censored censored" right up to the day he hauled it out to Ipsco to become a piece of pipe.

It is possible that both the CPC and GOP use the same content management system and that their websites employ the same default template, but with the mega-bucks the GOP has, I seriously doubt that they didn't invest top dollars in a professional web design and are not using some canned default template.
Also notice a couple of things from the CPC site.
Their Action Center - uses American spelling for centre, but the top navigator uses Canadian spelling (at least for Action Centre - it is back to US spelling for Video Center).
It looks to me like the CPC just ripped off the GOP website.
