I guess whats needed is efficient drain pipes.with water efficient toilets you often have to flush the toilet more than once to make sure that all the **** goes down. doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Only If you buy cheap toilets.with water efficient toilets you often have to flush the toilet more than once to make sure that all the **** goes down. doesn't that defeat the purpose?
The toilet we replaced used 13.8 liters per flush. The new one has a high and low flush at 6.0 and 4.1 liters per flush
respectively, so if needed once in a while, an extra flush shouldn't be a problem.
