Sweet!!! Tires that lean into the corners....

For some reason, watching that vid...I kept thinking of the piano wire wheels on
that buggy from the moon trip.

all I could think about the leaning tires is, if I can manage to get gravel into my brakes, I'd be SURE to jam them suckers up good.

We tried some on trucks a few years back. Not up to the work. Toyo and Michelin seem to be the best for on/off road and are well worth the few extra dollars for work vehicles.

Mine are the double studded winter tires on my little car/truck/van/station wagon thing.
Second season with them. So far, so good, & still awesome.

Best AT tire I found for this area seems to be Goodrich's TA KOs. I never take em off the truck till they wear out. I have Vic (my tire dude) give them a shallow sipe every winter for grip on ice and slickery snow. Used to have Coopers on and they weren't too bad either.

Goob, I toldja, that's a station wagon. More popular term these days seems to be SUV (or in my terms, a spute).

Hmmm- I've used winter studs for eight years, and swear by them. However, I drive a 1999 Chevy Malibu, which has 'redundant engineering strength'.
A lot of new cars have much lighter drive line components, and studded tries strain the driveline components.
