Ok, so "they" don't want Canadians to know about the opposition to Anwar, because Trans Canada Pipelines wants to get this going, and opposition isn't helping that. It is NOT the truth, this is a farce, nobody but some Elites wants Anwar to go ahead, and those two pilelines rampaging thru the pristine wildernesses of the North.
Aboriginals in those lands have leaders who have been put there,supported by Big Oil and even the Fed Govt.. going in favour of the pipeline despite a majority of "their people" against it.
If Canadians believe the Americans are all gung-HO! for Anwar, and we can't stop them because they are AMERICA, then we are letting soveriegnty go out the door, led by oilmen who have more loyalty to bloody HOUSTON than to Alberta OR Canada.
But it is not just our sovereignty that will be weakened as this pipeline reaches to the north, it is species loss, wilderness degradation too.
....and the whole project is SUPER INEFFICIENT

Nat gas culd be used much more efficiently in large trucks and heating homes. }
So the reasonable course of action - leaving it in the ground for the future - is being fought for , tooth and nail against those who would make this "worse choice" and go ahead with Anwar.
It is typical of the situation now, where bad projects that will help only very few Elites are the ones championed by the President and top officials, agains6t the desires and opinions of the majority.
Whats it take for everyone to see the conspiracy here? This is two+two and fairly obvious. It is less complex than algebra, and most people seem to be able to do that to some degree. So, I think there has been some mental manipulation, brainwashing, that does not allow us all to see the real world.
