Well, that should help.

He was crap as Derby County manager.

They were in the Championship relegation zone when he took over, took them up to 18th but dropped them down the table again, barely avoiding relegation when they drew 3-3 at home with Sheffield Wednesday on the last day of the season.

Maybe he will do better at DC United.

So often is the case that fans don't like their team's choice of new manager and then happily, for them, they are proven wrong. Leicester City fans were unhappy at the appointment of Claudio Ranieri as their new manager, thinking he would be crap, but he went on to lead them to the Premier League title - their first and so far only time they became English champions - when they were 1500-1 outsiders in 2016.
