I thought it was rather brave of Wally to let his anti-gay flag fly. Being a bigot openly in this day and age can lead to exposing oneself to ridicule and that can be emotionally damaging. Thank goodness we have brave people like Wally willing to stand up for their christian principles.
That's true. Christians are at terrible risk in Europe and North America. Why, I clearly recall the Mocking of Ought-Four. It was a senseless, horrible tragedy.
Dude has a point. The Bible is quite clear of its stance on practicing male homosexuals: they are to be put to death.
We criticize Islam for things like this in the Koran and we say that modern attitudes should not be shaped by intolerant things that were written long ago, in a holy book or not.
The books are holy because their concepts and ideologies are full of holes. The Koran borrowed those silly ideas from the OT.

The Old Testament is quite clear on that. It's also quite clear about all manner of cleanliness issues, and what should happen to people who break them.
Christianity is not based in the Old Testament though.
One of the most crucial teachings Christians should remember, is judge not.
It's for Collins, and Collins alone, to reconcile how his homosexuality should factor into his faith in Christ (if he has any?)
