Following a traffic stop near Wanham, an officer was strangled and left in a ditch. Stars Air Ambulance was called in, and the officer is currently in hospital. Police are asking for any information regarding the incident. Details within the link.

I know black humour, nasty, but choking someone of that size wearing a gun? wow, that is unusual

I'm still waiting to hear if I know this officer. A lot of the RCMP I know aren't huge, especially the women. And the RCMP is awake and talking in hospital, but they haven't released a statement from them explaining what happened.
