I am a new believer in Christ. I have started a daily Bible reading and it started me in Genesis and Matthew. In reading in Genesis I have some questions.

Here is my first question:

Genesis Chapter one talks about God creating man, he created them both male and female and he told them be fruitful and multiply. It also talks about God creating the animals. Then in Chapter 2, it talks about the creation of Adam and Eve. Is this two separate creations, or is it the same creation?
Flurple, Chapter 2 is an expanded account of the creation of Adam & Eve that takes place in Chapter One. Most mainstream Christian denominations (Lutheran, Baptist, etc.) hold the same basic Biblical beliefs. Good Reading: Commentary on the book of Romans by Martin Luther. Anything from A.W. Tozer. Also, a helpful site is intouch.org God's Blessings to you.

Ge:1 would seem to be about how 'dust' was created, Ge:2 picks it up when the breath of life entered man. If you look at the earth as being Eden then the garden area given in Ge:2 was left barren and only once Adam was alive did God let moisture into the Garden area then the development of that small area was as fast as MT St Helen recovered after the volcano event was over.

The earth will also look like that when New Jerusalem descends in Re:22 and Adam and Eve will be the first ones out and all their children will be behind them when the new earth begins so there are two possible answers.

If you want your questions answered look into almost any religion that predates christianity and judaism and you will see the parallels and where these ancient 'pagan' religious ideas and beliefs were ripped off by our 'modern' religions. It is explained very well in the movie Zeitgeist (available for your viewing online).

Zeitgeist: The Movie - by Peter Joseph ( Full Film ) - YouTube

In other words....it is a battle for your mind by those who would control you and have you live under their rule. All religions are false and full of lies and fabrications. Best of luck to you!
