blah, blah blah... you are a little confused with geography Gropper, there IS a border, and guess what, we are on the other side...all l hear is BUSH, BUSH, BUSH...

The facts are that whenever there is a conflict in history you Yankees start the blame game...it is always whoever is unlucky enough to be put into the leadership position that is responsible for everything and everyone, and all sides of the conflict.

When your civil war erupted, and Lincoln got involved, everyone hated him, but what would have happened if he wasn't elected back into office, you Americans would be busy Whipping your black slaves...
Now Lincoln is revered and honoured...

Even your constitution is written by a bunch of guys who preached freedom, while they all had slaves at home...

This world war needed a leader to reply to the declaration of war on North America, if Gore had got in you Yankees would be moaning and groaning about him.

The fact is that sooner or later you have to make up your mind about the type of country you want to be a part of.

Do you want to be a part of a country that just allows itslef to be attacked, and the world to be terrorised with bombs and nuclear warheads, or would you like to be a part of a country that stands up for what is right and the freedoms it has earned and that is brave enough to stand up for these rights??

I can't be bothered with BUSH bashing, it is time for the cowards to stop whinning and start facing reality. We have two irrational wierdos with nucleur weapons and one is linked to the terrorists that are out to rule the world.

Whoever is next in power should be ready, because they will be heavily criticised regardless of what they do, and the traditionalist will rule at the end of the day, because there is a job to be done and the US is leading the way to get the job done.

LOL! What is even more pathetic is those of you who are snuggly in your sofas drinking your beer as others are doing your fighting for you.
What is more pathetic than someone sitting in thier sofa sipping on a latte and criticizing those who are fighting for your right to free speech?

The people have the right to self determination - after all, that is what democracy is all about.

After his initial pretexts for war were refuted, Bush attempted to justify his warism by saying that he wanted to promote democratization in order to advance society and to guarantee peace. Well, now you see what democratization brought in Palestine and Lebanon. If Bush is to remain consistent in the application of his principles, then he must allow for democratization to take place in Afghanistan according to the dictates of the will of those people. If they say the Taliban is to rule, then so be it. That's democracy in action and if you support Bush then you should approve of its consequences.
I suppose then that if the Taliban or other fanatics are elected and decide the best thing to do is to kill all the gays and put women under thier thumb again, you are O.K. with that? Or if they take over by force,as they did before,no problem?

Wallyj the peace protesters never mention the victims when they protest, they pretend like they care about our Soldiers but I've never seen them show this mythical Caring. It's politics, our troops are irrelivant because the cameras and media attention is what protesting about Afghanistan is all about. Phote opps for Layton, he's done more damage to the NDP in a few months than all their corruption and incompetence ever did.

Was Victoria, now Ottawa
Actually, wearing red on friday doesn't do anything, while protesting the war does more for our soldiers. When you protest your getting out and trying to get our soldiers home. Wearing red is, well, just wearing red.
