Police arrest person who landed gyrocopter near U.S. Capitol

WASHINGTON — U.S. Capitol Police have arrested someone who landed a small aircraft near the Capitol Wednesday afternoon.

The aircraft – being described as a “gyrocopter” — landed on the West Lawn of the Capitol at about 1:15 p.m. Capitol Police arrested someone who was in the helicopter.

Well they had bomb sniffing devices and bomb squad taking a close look at it..

Kind'a cool that he made it all the way from Florida in that tiny thing... he was a Post Office employee..

Guess this brings on a whole new meaning of "Going Postal."
