Stephen Harper tried Tuesday to draw Stéphane Dion into the controversy over Elizabeth May's comments comparing the government's approach to climate change to Britain's appeasement of the Nazis.

Did anyone watch her on a CPAC interview? If you did, you would know why Harper is trying to get Dion into an alliance with her. If he doesn't maintain light years between himself and that idiot, it is a certain formula for defeat in the next election.

Not only did she use the Nazi reference, but she also basically said American christians are people of little intellect who think Joan of Arc was Noah's sister or something similar. Correct me if I'm wrong, but she's a christian who spent much of her youth south of the border...so really didn't she just insult her own intelligence?

It's clear from her comments that she's blatantly against the United States and it's citizens, which is a scary thought for our economy if she ever gets into parliament. She's even more dangerous for the economy then Dion, as he's not quite so against our biggest trade partner then she is.

Able, I saw her CPAC interview, and in it she just further confirmed that she's even more rude and ignorant then I previously thought.

The person I feel the most sorry for in this...Jim Harris. All the work he did to legitimize the Green Party and bring them to the forefront has been completely decimated in just a few short months by a radical lunatic. My best advice to people is to invest in a pair of good earplugs...you're going to need them when the axles start scraping the ground because May single-handedly causes the wheels to fall off the Green Party bandwagon. And I say good riddance to her.

I wonder if May really is in trouble though. I don't see the level of debate in parliament rising.

Christians are not people of little intellect but when it comes to politics they sure act like it.

Talking about the nazi reference we have to remember that it was the Christian Germans who that supported Hitler.

It was the Christian Germans that supported the nazi party and squealed on their neighbors

It was the Christian Germans that came up with the idea of the final solution to get rid of the problem.

It was a Christian Pope that knew what the nazis were doing and decided not to do anything about it.

When it comes to the Harper government Christians will blindly follow him straight to hell just because he is a Christian.

Hitler was an evil man and Harper is not an evil man

Harper means well, he reminds me of John Diefenbaker who killed a military jet fighter industry just to satisfy the Americans.

If only Harper thought of Canadians being number one instead of the Americans and take seriously about taking the reigns of leadership.

If Harper could do that, then he would be OK
