Planning on going to UBC from Toronto

hello people....
I have just applied to UBC for BCOM and now I'm trying to search an accommodation close by the campus the only place i thought of was kijiji and it only gives me a few options so if someone here could help me with this would be highly appreciated. Secondly, I have heard that Vancouver is pretty expensive to live in so If you could also tell me on average rent for a room near UBC should cost me. Lastly, how hard would is it be to find employment in the city.

10,0000 a month at least and $20 more if you want the sunnyside of the room.

Reality....$1000 -$1500 for anything near the school. Get a few roomies.

If you can get into residence.... grab it!!!

You can try craigslist: vancouver, BC classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events, but buyer beware. some "scams" on it.
