I've always felt that was the deeper story here. Brown was seen as an unmarried Playboy which upset the sanctimonious establishment. And so to confirm their suspicions and dislike for him, they threw him under the Bus with a decade old alleged transgression.

He's going to win big in my opinion.

Is he going to sue them for making the entire PC caucus fire him?

How does that work?

Never heard of libel, moron? Christ you're dumb. CTV engaged in libelous behaviour by NOT making sure they had the facts before publishing the story. This is EXACTLY the kind of shit that happens when you're more interested in pushing narratives and yellow journalism rather than engaging in actual journalism.

I hope Brown sues CTV right out of f*cking business. It'll give notice to the rest of the news media in Canada to make goddam sure they have ALL the facts of a story before reporting on it. Particularly stories like this where careers can be ended based on the word of the media.
