Parking Mayhem: Pensioner Smashes Into 10 Cars
Security video shows the elderly driver causing a multi-vehicle collision as he leaves a shopping centre in the US.
Police have released footage of a 92-year-old driver struggling to steer his minivan out of a car park and smashing into 10 other vehicles in the process.
The CCTV clip shows the motorist gently reversing out of a parking spot before lurching forwards and hitting the three cars in front.
Seemingly panicked, he shunts backwards and collides with the two vehicles behind – then changes gear and knocks the bumper off a stationary car as he accelerates away.
Moments later, another security camera shows the minivan slamming into the side of a red pickup truck, nearly coming into contact with the passenger inside.
With the ground littered with debris, the pickup driver begins to chase after the errant motorist before he causes any more damage.
The fiasco unfolded at the Piggly Wiggly shopping centre in Mayville, Wisconsin, and according to police, "a medical emergency may have been involved".
Nobody was injured in the incident.
