Outrage! Killer Pistorius sprung for grandma’s funeral

South Africa has erupted in fury after it was revealed that convicted killer and former Olympics hero Oscar Pistorius was secretly let out of jail for his grandmother’s funeral.
The disgraced Blade Runner is serving a six-year prison sentence for murdering his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
The country’s correction authorities say Pistorius was spring under a compassionate leave policy for four hours and was closely guarded. They said he is classified as a “low-risk” offender.
Pistorius’ prison sentence has been slammed by prosecutors as too lenient -- and by a nation still divided by race.
JT Thulo wrote on Facebook: “Even our beloved late president Nelson Mandela was never granted a single chance … to go and bury his son whilst in prison and remember he never killed anyone, but this dude is allowed to go out and bury his grandma, #NoJusticeInThisWorld.”
Tsitsi Gwanzura Mushaike added: “What did we surely expect? This is all about skin colour. The lighter your colour the more privileges you get and it will never change,even if Jesus was to come down and visit us.”
Majivolo Nomonde Ndesh asked, why Pistorius?
“Lots of prisoners lose their close family members but never allowed to go and bury them. But Oscar goes and bury his grandmother. Wow its nice to have money sometimes…”
Before she died, Gerti Pistorius -- who practically raised the runner -- told the Daily Mail she remained proud of her grandson.
“We pray for Oscar, we love Oscar, and we are very, very proud of Oscar. He is the same wonderful boy he always has been,” she told the tabloid.
The runners lawyers were also back in court fighting a prosecution motion that Pistorius’ sentence was “shockingly lenient.”
