Ontario Government bends over its people yet again

These bozos signed a contract with GE for $5.2 Billion for an offshore windfarm. This year, the environment minister - Glen Murray - declared a "moratorium" on offshore wind because "studies show that there are noise and environment issues". Now they have been successfully sued under NAFTA for $25 million - with a half billion dollar civil lawsuit to follow. Bozos - because don't ya think studies should be done BEFORE you contractually agree to hand over $5.2 Billion? That money would have gone a long way to finally building Toronto's subway infrastructure. With an equal investment from the city and some funding from Ottawa - we'd be looking at well over $10 billion for subway expansion - a huge environmental improvement over.........yep, windmills. Such utter incompetence.
