Since this has the appearance of a swipe, and since you appear to be either native American or sympathetic to their causes, I would just point out that there is nothing superior to the justice dispensed by courts based on the British heritage.
I personally disagree that a niqab should be allowed in court, but I would respect the ruling of the court.
It's not a swipe. It's an observation that "normal" is a culturally dependent thing. We are slowly, painfully (some of us) getting around to the notion that our "normal" isn't the only "normal" there is, nor is ours inherently superior.
And there's plenty of justice just as good as the Anglo justice system. Most of the systems of the Continent are at least as good. There are also some based on wildly different assumptions that may have a thing or two to teach Lord Coke and Blackstone.
