Hard to believe its 28 years. I was at my grandma's in Kamloops when he died. Of course I was only nine so I could not figure out why so much talk about him.

But he remained really popular if not more after his death. Amazing how people still worship and idolize him. But he was the one who made rock as we know it. Hard to believe now,but shaking his hips when he sang caused such a big uproar back in the day and then only showing him from waste up on tv ... ha ha but thats what made him.
