OK, The Raptors are Making Me a Believer

Any B-Ball fans out there? I'm trying not to get too excited but Gawd damn this team is impressing me.

At least during the games most Toronto car stereos are safe. Other than that I find it hard to enjoy or even call basketball a sport even though we invented it. But like baseball, soccer and golf it's one of those things better played than watched.

I've never been a huge basketball fan, but I've always rooted for the Raptors (being a Canadian team and all). I really like the group they have right now, as they play as a team rather than trying for individual stats. I think, as it stands right now, they have the best bench in the entire league. I believe that they will win the East this year, and will make it deep into the playoffs (hopefully they don't get bit by the injury bug).


I also have a feeling that Kevin Durant will sign with Toronto next year once his current contract is up. I think it was stupid that they fined the Raptors due to comments that Drake said yet never fined Miami (or Cleveland) for comments made by LeBron James when he wanted certain players to play with (Kevin Love comes to mind).
